Notable Achievement Prime Minister Hibiscus Awards (PMHA)

LH PLUS has been recognised for its environmental performance through the Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award (PMHA) 2024/2025, Malaysia’s highest national recognition for excellence in environmental management and sustainability practices. The 2024/2025 award cycle recorded the highest participation since the programme’s inception, with 81 companies from across the Malaysian economy voluntarily subjecting their environmental practices to a rigorous evaluation process.

This cycle saw strong representation from sectors including manufacturing and chemicals, energy, construction and engineering, hospitality, oil palm plantation, as well as continued participation from traditionally higher-impact industries such as oil and gas, demonstrating a broad-based commitment to environmental accountability. The increased participation of small and medium enterprises further reflects a growing alignment with evolving ESG expectations, supply chain requirements and green financing considerations.

The Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award highlights the Government’s ongoing commitment to strengthening environmental governance and promoting responsible business practices nationwide. Jointly organised by the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and the Environmental Management and Research Association of Malaysia, with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability and the Department of Environment, the award remains a credible and respected benchmark for environmental excellence.

This recognition reinforces LH PLUS’s strategic focus on sustainability, continuous improvement and long term value creation through responsible and compliant environmental management.
